The superb Stragglers Coffee House is located on the ground floor of the Marcus Trescothick Pavilion here at the Cooper Associates County Ground, Taunton.

Unfortunately due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and the National Lockdown coming into force in November, the Stragglers Coffee House is CLOSED with immediate effect and until further notice.

Due to the introduction of a second national lockdown in November, the Stragglers Coffee House will be closed with immediate effect.

Opened in December 2015, the fully licenced venue offers a wide variety of high quality breakfasts, lunches, hot and cold drinks plus cakes and pastries. There’s no need to book a table in advance, simply come in and enjoy!

We are open from Tuesday to Saturday 10am – 3pm.

How To Find Us

We are located on the ground floor of the Marcus Trescothick Pavilion at the Cooper Associates County Ground, Taunton and is open to the general public. The Stragglers Coffee House is open during Somerset County Cricket Club home fixtures, but a match ticket or valid Membership will be needed to gain entry to the ground.

Directions

Exit Junction 25 on M5 motorway. Follow the signs A38 to Taunton. Go straight across at the next roundabout. At the traffic lights go straight on (past Fitness First). Go across the next roundabout (signposted cricket).

Parking

There is ample parking at the Cooper Associates County Ground on non match days. Somerset County Cricket Club is cyclist friendly with several cycle paths close to the Cooper Associates County Ground. On-site we also have bicycle racks situated near the Priory Bridge Road and St James Street Gates.
